Make Delicious Kaju Katli in 9 Easy Steps, Punwadi
Indian Loves festivals and sweets. And by the term ‘sweets’, there is one name that can’t be forgotten by we Indians – Kaju Katli. It is one of the most favorite sweets and Diwali seems to be incomplete without it. With that in mind, today we bring you some simple steps on how to make this awesome and delicious sweet at home.
- Cashews – ¼ cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
Step 1: Grind the cashews in a grinder in order to make them fully powdered.
Step 2: Take sugar in a pan and add three teaspoons of water in it.
Step 3: Light up the gas and prepare one thread syrup from it.
Step 4: After the syrup is done, add cashew powder to it.
Step 5: Stir continuously till you get a consistent mixture free of bubbles and hardening.
Step 6: Put the gas on low flame and continue stirring the mixture.
Step 7: Pour a little bit of this mixture in a plate to see if it has become properly thick or not.
Step 8: Grease the plate with ghee and put the mixture in it and evenly spread it over the surface.
Step 9: Cut the kaju katli in desired shape.
Your kaju katli is now ready to be served.
