Hardik Patel, the 22-year old boy doesn’t look like an influential leader from any angle but as they say looks can be deceptive. This young boy is an unchallenged leader of nearly 1.4 crores Patel-Patidar community in Gujarat and now is planning to expand its grasp to many folds by combining the Patel – Kurmi community of landowners, which is spread Nationwide and has a population of 27 crores. But there is a question in everyone’s mind, who is he, what is his background and how he becomes a leader of such a big community here are the answers

2. B.COM with 50 percent
He is a commerce graduate and completed his B.COM from Shree Sahajanand Arts And Commerce College in Ahmedabad. There are reports, which suggest that he scored less than 50 percent marks in his graduation.
3. Sardar Patel is his inspiration
Hardik is a devoted follower of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, in fact, he started his political life by joining Sardar Patel Group, a youth body of Patidar community. In a short time he became the president of Viramgam unit, here is learned about the problem of Patidar youth. Later he was ousted from the group because of a dispute with Lalji Patel.
4. Sister’s Failure was the reason behind this Agitation
After he was ousted from the Sardar Patel Group, one day Hardik came to know that her sister Monica failed to get a state run scholarship while her friend got the same even after scoring lesser marks because she was ab OBC candidate. From here, Hardik started to plan this agitation.
5. He is being called ‘New Modi’
His followers called him New Modi and finds similarities between the both as well. Like both are devoted followers of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, both have an aggressive attitude, both are masses leaders and many more.
So, there is no doubt that Hardik Patel has become masses leader in no time and Hardik is now planning to become a national leader by placing himself the leader of Patel – Kurmi community.
